YOU DO HAVE A JOB TO PERFORM IN AN INTERVIEW.

YOU DO HAVE A JOB TO PERFORM IN AN INTERVIEW.
Do it well to get selected.

An internal view of a person. A possible break-up view of the word interview.  It’s an essential stage where you are tested inside out. The interview panel wants to know your views on a subject matter. Resume is an overview.

They want to know
·        You as a person
·        Your personality
·        Your expertise
·        How well you can gel
·        Your attitude towards challenges and general tasks
YOU DO HAVE A JOB TO PERFORM IN AN INTERVIEW.
Speak articulately. Explain precisely.

Have you prepared well enough for your interview?
Tell me something about yourself. The one hurting question that becomes a kick started point for every interview conversation.  It does sets the tone for rest of the interview. It does have a quiet a lot of weight-age. Far more than just telling about your family background and your academic qualification.
Even if your domain skill is a back-end oriented but still you are required to be presentable. Behave in a graceful manner. Speak articulately. Explain precisely.

Your job in the interview is to make the panel understand
·        That you know the job well.
·        Have the experience of getting it right.
·        Have a command over whatever you have claimed in your resume.

Be ready to be questioned about your response to scenarios that they might create to understand your solution providing skills. You have to ensure that you have addressed the scenario correctly and in the right order.

How to appear confident in an interview?
Confidence is a set of two functions knowledge + experience
How well you know your subject of expertise and how many times you have performed it over and over again to have a command over it.

If you have completed an important task a 100 times. You would be able to explain it in length about how to get it right, the challenges and the timeline required to perform it. The anchor point of this section again goes back to your resume where you stated something in a manner that looks pleasing to the interview panel. And that is the reason why they shortlisted you for an interview.

Perform or perish is the corporate rule.
A good adverting for a bad product is a worst case scenario. All your expectation, preparation, and hard work will go in vain if you have overstated something which you can’t execute the way you have mentioned it in your resume. And another noteworthy point is that you are not the only candidate who wants the job. A reference can only help you to be at the interview stage. Not beyond that. Even if you have got the job, you still have to perform.
